Its clients include industrial and commercial companies, real estate developers and investors, not-for-profit institutions, (including hospitals and educational institutions). It is also serves as project counsel for a broad range of lenders and investors including commercial banks, institutional investors, bond purchasers, mortgage companies, investment banks, underwriters, and corporate trustees.

The firm's finance practice is comprised of two areas of specialization: real estate finance and public finance. Stadtmauer Bailkin's public finance practice services clients who are participants in the public bond markets for tax-exempt and taxable bond financing. Transactions include fixed and variable rate debt, municipal public offerings, private placements and limited offerings for all types of tax exempt projects, including small issue manufacturing (under $10 million); not-for-profit institutions, bond purchasers, corporate trustees, bond underwriters, developers of qualified projects, and others.

Real Estate Finance

The real estate finance practice acts as either borrower's or lender's counsel, in a wide variety of real estate loans, including construction loans, acquisition financing, bank financing, private financing, mezzanine financing, and government assisted loan such as multi-family housing project financing, SBA financing and Industrial Development Agency "straight-lease" financing assistance.
